The Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a partner of ERISEE and the regional project “Enhancing the Quality of Education and Training in Southeast Europe” (ERISEE/EQET SEE), has successfully implemented all planned activities both at the regional level and within Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a continuation of the regional project activities, APOSO developed national standards for BiH in the agriculture and metal processing sectors, specifically the occupational standards for the profession of Locksmith and Agrotechnician of conventional and organic production, as well as qualification standards for the corresponding qualifications.
Subsequently, learning materials were developed, including manuals for the implementation of vocational-theoretical teaching, manuals for the implementation of practical training, as well as training and organization of Work-Based Learning (WBL) for the qualifications of Agrotechnician and Metalworker. These were then validated and terminologically harmonized for use in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The manuals were developed with the involvement of experts from six economies and are designed as supplementary materials—rich in practical examples, exercises, and innovative methods—intended to support learners in Agrotechnician and Metalworker programs (and related fields), vocational-theory and practical subject teachers, WBL organizers, practitioners, and all those seeking additional information.
