The training on Data Management and Evidence-Based Policy Making organized within the project: Improving the Quality of Education and Training (EQET SEE) was held on 12 and 13 April 2022 in Podgorica.
More than 30 relevant participants from quality assurance institutions and ministries of education from the region’s seven economies attended the meeting. The training was organized in order to improve the processes of data collection, analysis and their use in external evaluation. Dutch experts Maarten Balvers, Tim Schokker, Herman Franssen presented experiences from the Netherlands and addressed topics on the types of data collected, methods for their collection and analysis, objectives of data collection and their use in creating educational policies. The participants exchanged information on their practices and discussed improvements that could be achieved and that would contribute to regional cooperation.
