The Agency for pre-primary, primary and secondary education (APOSO) as a local partner for TO REGOS project has started developing occupation standards for dry construction worker and painter occupations.
Methodologically, the project is being realized successively via activities at a local level (level of individual countries) and common activity on a regional level. All the activities by all the phases of standard development for Bosnia and Herzegovina are coordinated by the APOSO.
The work groups for occupation standards development in Bosnia and Herzegovina are formed of the construction industry experts from different parts of the country, whose work is being organized and moderated by Dušan Sarajlić, as a coordinator of the projects for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The work group for occupation standards development in Bosnia and Herzegovina has a mission to develop a preliminary proposal of standards which, on the regional level, will be complied with the proposals of standards of other countries participants in the project, for the purpose of making a final standard proposal afterwards at the closing meeting of the work group for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After elaboration of the methodological steps and successfully realized preparation phase and formation of the work groups, the development process has started and composition of the standards is in progress. The first meeting of the work group was held in the beginning of July and it is being planned that the preliminary standards for dry construction worker and painter occupations (in the form necessary for regional compliance) is going to be completed by the end of September.
