Based on the Regional Media Literacy Framework, the forth module of a pilot training on “Manipulation, disinformation and stereotypes” was held and organized by NSS EPALE Slovenia.
The training was attended by EPALE NSSs and their selected representatives from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro. The two-day training was held on September 19 and 20, 2023 in Ljubljana. Media education and media literacy of adults was presented by PhD Mateja Rek from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, while PhD Boris Vezjak, a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Maribor gave an inspirational presentation on Manipulation, disinformation and stereotypes in media headlines.
The fifth training will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November this year, when the host and organizer of the training will be the Agency for Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Education.
