The Regional EPALE Conference, entitled Research Practice in Adult Education, was held in Budva, Montenegro, on March 6 and 7, 2018. Participants of the conference were presented with the publication ‘Mapping the Needs on Professional Development of Teachers Working in Secondary Vocational and Mixed Schools and Licensed Adult Educators’, the results of which will be taken as the basis for upcoming training of teachers in Montenegro. During the conference, participants had the opportunity to share experiences, compare results, talk to colleagues from the region, hear suggestions for further advances in research practices in adult education, as well as to give recommendations and guidelines for encouraging future regional co-operation.

Apart from the European Electronic Platform for Adult Learning (EPALE) ambassadors and representatives of the EPALE state support services, the conference was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro, representatives of Erasmus offices in Montenegro, as well as representatives of schools, social partners and licensed adult education organizers.
