The Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education presented the document entitled ‘The Common Core of Integral Developmental Programs for Preschool Education Defined on Learning Outcomes‘ (CCIDP) at the conference held on 30 October 2018 in Mostar. The conference was organized with the aim of presenting the results of the work on preparing the document.
Ms. Maja Stojkić, Agency Director and Ms. Fatima Smajlović, Director of Program Development and Quality with the Save the Children in North West Balkans, a partner organization that supported the document development, opened the conference with introductory speeches. Ms. Marija Naletilić, Head of the Common Core Development Unit presented the structure of the document and methodology for developing the common core program defined on learning outcomes while experts Ms. Tamara Pribišev-Beleslin and Ms. Jasmina Bećirović-Karabegović addressed the document development process and implementation possibilities.
The Agency has been developing the common core curricula defined on learning outcomes since 2012. In the previous period, the CCC was developed for all eight defined educational areas as well as for the teaching subjects within these areas with accompanying indicators set across five education levels- from preschool to the end of secondary education. The development of the common core of integral developmental programs for preschool education defined on learning outcomes was the final step in developing the complete common core curricula defined on learning outcomes.
