On January 10-16 2020, Tuzla hosted X International Conference – Open Community School on the topic: ‘A quality system approach to the development of key competences of each student’, organized by the international association ‘Interactive Open Schools’ in Tuzla.
The conference is intended for the education public: representatives of schools, parents, institutions and bodies responsible for education in Tuzla Canton, and other institutions and organizations that cooperate with schools. The first day of the conference held were plenary sessions on the importance of the quality system approach to the development of key competences of each child. The second day was dedicated to the results and recommendations of the PISA 2018 survey in BiH, presented by the representative of the Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education, Žaneta Džumhur.
This was another opportunity for a large number of teachers, representatives of pedagogical institutes and the university community to discuss the ways of educating students to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
