Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education has held 11th Andragogyc Simposium on 22-24 February this year in the hotel Le Méridien Lav, Podstrana, Split in Croatia.
The Symposium was organised within the ESF Lifelong Learning Promotion project Phase II, Element 2: Teaching staff competence strengthening in the institutions for adult learning.
This year’s symposium, as all previous ones, was directed to the current themes related to the adult learning. The distinguished experts for adult learning at the international and national level have informed the symposium participants about the news in the field of adult learning, passed the experience from their practice and, in that way, enabled the participants to gain new knowledge and skills in adult education for further improvement of the adult learning system.
This years’ symposium topics were:
- External evaluation of the institution for adult learning as one of the important elements of the system for quality assurance in the adult learning system
- New regulations appliance in the adult learning
- Qualification standards development
During the last day of the Symposium, the participants had a chance to exchange the experience and gain new knowledge in the workshops for qualification standards development and sets of learning outcomes as a base for adult learning program development. The workshops were held by the employees of the Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education.
Also, the representatives of the Agency for pre-primary, primary and secondary education and members of National Support Service EPALE Bosnia and Herzegovina were present.
