The Working Group for Arts within the Consortium of Institutions for Development and Research in Education in Europe (CIDREE) held a two-day meeting in partnership with the Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education. CIDREE is made up of national education institutions that play a role in curriculum development, perform education researches and promote international cooperation by organizing joint projects. The meeting was held on 26-27 September 2019 in Sarajevo attended by representatives of Scotland, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Estonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The first day discussed were results obtained by quantitative analysis on the ‘Effective ways of supporting the arts’ in primary school and results gained by interviews with primary school teachers of fine arts and music, with a view of identifying useful methods and resources on fine arts and music effective teaching. The second day discussed were contents for further CIDREE project activities.
