A regular annual meeting of the EAAL Program Coordinators, the Implementation of the EU Adult Education Program, was held in Brussels on 19 September 2018 along with a joint meeting of the EAAL and ET 2020 Adult Education Coordinators on 18 September 2018. The role of the adult education working group is to identify policies that promote and support adult learners in the workplace and refer to the adults who need to strengthen reading, writing, and computing simple operations using digital tools as well as adults who need to upgrade their skills.
On the second day, 19 September 2018, held was a meeting of state coordinators for EAAL where presented were conclusions from the previous project cycle for the period 2015 – 2017. Highlighted were: progress in work, good practice, and lessons learned. Presented were also the results of the Skills Audits research. At the previous meeting, Country Coordinators were divided into groups. Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the group for the coordination of stakeholders through providing the basic skills. This group includes the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia and Croatia.
