The first working meeting within the project European Agenda for Adult Learning was held in Teslić 24 June 2024. Its topic was a quality assurance of the institutions for adult learning through the processes of self-evaluation and external evaluation.
The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to hear two lecturers: prof. Jovan Miljković PhD, from the Department of Andragogy of the Faculty of Philosophy, University in Belgrade, who spoke about the needs, limitations and possibilities of evaluation in adult learning. The other lecturer was Mario Vučić, assistant director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education of the Republic Croatia, who presented establishment of the quality system in adult learning on the example of the Republic Croatia.
There were different questions and answers through the discussion and conversations with the lecturers about the role and place of the evaluation, indicators choice, evaluation type, the process of self-evaluation, evaluator teams, standards, quality areas, etc. The program European Agenda for Adult Learning (EAAL) will continue in the future period, until the end of 2025, the work in this field.
