Closing conference of the EPALE project on the topic ‘Adult Education Competencies of Teachers’ was realized within the second cycle of the EPALE project implemented by the Centre for Vocational Education in Montenegro. The conference was held on 30 November 2018 in Splendid Hotel in Budva.
Mr. Siniša Gatarić, State Coordinator for the EPALE project in BiH and Mr. Slavko Karan participated in the conference on behalf of the BiH EPALE team and the Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education.
The event brought together 90 representatives of various government and civil sector institutions (ministries and other state administration bodies, chambers of commerce, employers, licensed adult educators, educational institutions, civil sector, media) as well as representatives of EPALE support services from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia.
Within the EPALE project framework, a number of activities have been implemented that contributed to: raising the awareness of stakeholders on the importance of networking and use of learning resources; promoting the importance of adult education at national and international levels; motivating general and professional public to use the EPALE platform; and promoting the EPALE community in Montenegro.
EPALE project has strengthened international connections, organization of regional conferences and partner cooperation of countries – Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
