National Support Services (NSS) of the EPALE platform gathered for a two-day meeting held in a hybrid format — onsite at the Comet Retiro venue in Madrid and online via Microsoft Teams. The aim of this event was to improve collaboration and share best practices across the network that supports adult education throughout Europe.

The event was opened by representatives of the European Commission and the Spanish Ministry of Education, followed by presentations on the priorities for 2025, including the “Union of Skills” initiative. Participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions on both technical and non-technical aspects of the EPALE platform’s development.

The first day concluded with an interactive quiz celebrating EPALE’s 10th anniversary and an informal networking dinner, providing space for connection and community-building.

The second day was dedicated to practical workshops. Topics included the analysis and creation of high-quality content for EPALE, the use of web analytics to optimize platform presence, and examples of successful collaboration between national teams and EPALE Ambassadors. The event concluded with the presentation of workshop results and plans for national side events within the EPALE Community Conference.

Representing the NSS of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this event were Milana Sukara and Slavko Karan.

The meeting of the EPALE National Support Services once again confirmed the platform’s role as a key European instrument for the development of adult education and lifelong learning.
