The initial conference for the project Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE, was held on 8 February, 2022. in online format.
Experts in the field of secondary vocational education and training and quality assurance spoke at the conference. Mr. Arjen Deij from the ETF Foundation spoke about trends in the development, comparison and renewal of qualifications in an international and regional context, Ms. Melanie Ehren from the University of Amsterdam presented European trends in external evaluation of pre-tertiary education. Professor Slobodan Cvejić from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade presented the concept of social sustainability in the context of the development of educational systems and societies.
This conference was an opportunity for other international projects active in the region (Austrian Development Agency, GIZ, OeAD, SDC) to present their projects and initiatives as well as the results of their work.
The VET component was presented at the conference, within which the process of developing a regional standard of occupation began. The Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education is conducting, as a local partner (LP) in this part of the project, activities for the preparation and development of occupational standards for the profession of agricultural technicians.
