The inter-institutional working group on quality management, supported by the GIZ Program for Strengthening of Public Institutions in BiH, held the 14th meeting on 26.9.2019 in Sarajevo. Apart from the permanent members of the working group, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the visiting institutions from different administrative levels in BiH. Presented was an overview of the 2019-2022 Framework Operation Plan for Quality Management and discussed were planned activities for 2019, with a particular focus on organizing a conference on quality management mid-November 2019.
The meeting was preceded by the promotion of a new online training for civil servants in BiH, which took place at the premises of GIZ, the organization which implements the Program for Strengthening of Public Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina along with the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office and Civil Service Agency of BiH.
The presented online training: Common Assessment Framework and Quality Management in Public Administration – CAF represents an innovative step in strengthening and sharing knowledge and skills through training of civil servants in BiH while supporting the quality management processes in public administration.
CAF (Common Assessment Framework) is one of the models for quality management in public administration representing a common framework for quality assessment of public sector and a tool for self-evaluation within institution.
